Responsibilities: 


The Senior Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing is responsible for analyzing and monitoring intercompany transactions impacting Teva’s subsidiaries in the US, Canada and LATAM. This position will serve as the intermediary between the Accounting and Tax groups and must have the ability to communicate effectively across functions, as well as to analyze intercompany transactions in detail. The incumbent will prepare contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation for the US and Canadian entities in accordance with statutory obligations. This position ensures adherence to Teva’s global transfer pricing policies and procedures. The Senior Tax Analyst will act as a liaison for outside consultants supporting the transfer pricing process, and will provide all necessary information for analysis and documentation. The incumbent will need to work independently and also alongside the Director, Americas Transfer Pricing, in support of both the Tax and Accounting teams.
 
•    Review, monitor and analyze transactions related to intercompany services
•    Work with the Global Operational TP Director to create and implement best practices for global intercompany services charges
•    Prepare regional intercompany services calculations
•    Support accounting and Finance teams by providing day-to-day guidance on transfer pricing processes
•    Prepare local annual transfer pricing documentation, including oversight for the functional analysis process
•    Support federal and state tax audits with respect to transfer pricing and intercompany activity
•    Support tax and operational planning processes
•    Support of global BEPS Country by Country Reporting initiatives
•    Own the Intercompany Agreements database for the Americas, as well as coordinate and support the business and legal teams in the preparation of new agreements
•    Embrace change and support the automation and standardization of regional TP processes
•    Work on assigned special projects and assist in other areas of international tax compliance as business needs require.
•    Follow Teva Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience in Finance, Accounting or Economics 


Experience
•    3+ years of combined public accounting and/or corporate finance/accounting experience preferred 

 Functional Knowledge


•    Able to gather, analyze, interpret, and compare information and opinions from multiple sources and identify complex cause and effect relationships
•    Experience developing financial models and reports, as well as conducting financial analyses
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•    Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with multiple ERP and financial reporting systems.  Experience with SAP-E a plus.
•    Working knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax principles
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate across cultures and functions
•    Working knowledge of Alteryx desired
•    Ability to work independently
•    Strong organization and project management skills
•    Maintains effectiveness in fast-paced, changing and often ambiguous assignments
•    Able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
