The opportunity

This role is focused on enabling strategic and tactical business decisions for a subset of products within Innovative Medicines portfolio in the US. Products are in the CNS/Mental Health TA. Core responsibilities include working cross-functionally to proactively identify important business questions and develop and implement plans for addressing them. The focus is on using variety of appropriate information sources to generate meaningful and actionable integrated insights. This role will ultimately contribute to decisions regarding optimizations needed to achieve financial goals. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including US Marketing/Brand, Global Marketing, Global Insights, US and Global Forecasting, Sales, Finance, Medical, Patient Services, and Market Access. Communication skills and ability to present integrated insights in an effective way across different levels of organization is imperative for the success of this role. 

How you’ll spend your day

  • Work cross-functionally to identify key business questions within a standard planning cycle and develop insights approaches to address them.
  • Monitor trends and determine ad hoc analysis that need to be conducted to help continue delivering strong brand performance.
  • Develop and implement insights plans for different life-cycle phases of a product (pre-launch, launch, mature brands) that address cross-functional business needs.
  • Work with third party primary market research vendors to conduct necessary studies: from MSA, to RFP, to methodology design, to sample composition, to instrument development, to analysis plans, to reports.
  • Drive significant contribution towards actionable integrated analysis for each stage of business planning – situation analysis for tactical planning, landscape understanding for strategic planning, pricing and GTN competitive analysis for financial planning, etc. 
  • Manage product specific CI as aligned to Teva’s CI framework.
  • Provide key inputs for forecasting assumptions.
  • Proactively reach out to cross-functional teams, such as secondary analytics, HEOR, market access analytics, Specialty Pharmacy analytics, and others to triangulate and integrated different sources of information for efficient and robust insights generation. 
  • Develop succinct and actionable insights summaries to drive business decisions.
  • Explore new approaches and new vendor partnerships for more efficient and innovative solutions. 
  • Contribute to resource optimization analysis to represent trends/preferences/priorities for each customer segment.
  • Represent customer voice for multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in appropriate BD assessments.
  • Present integrated insights to different levels of the organization in a clear way that leads to productive discussions and successful decision making.
  • Represent customer voice for all segments – patients, caregivers, HCPs, Specialty Pharmacy, Payers, etc.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, analytics, economics, or related field. 
  • Minimum 1.5 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience. 
  • Experience managing and conducting successful analytics projects.
  • Understanding of consumer market research and measurement of consumer promotional investments is a plus.
  • Proven ability to integrate multiple data sources (including secondary data) and generate actionable insights enabling effective decision-making.
  • Experience working with complex cross-functional teams. 
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and help deliver on strong performance goals.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 10-15% travel throughout the US, which may include weekend and overnight and periodic international travel.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $129,000 – 170,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
