The opportunity

The primary role of the Sr, Manager, Pricing & Reimbursement is to coordinate pricing activities and provide the related pricing analysis and support.  Responsibilities include leading adherence to the pricing policies and procedures, evaluating price increases, securing approval of new product pricing, managing the price increase proposal and approval process and coordinating brand and biosimilar state price transparency reporting. The Sr. Manager, Pricing is expected to be a subject matter expert on gross-to-net sales and will report to the Sr. Director – Strategic Pricing & Reimbursement. This position will provide support for all Teva US Products (brands and biosimilars).

 

Location: This is a hybrid position (3 days/week onsite) based in our Parsippany, NJ office.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional Value & Access teams to guide pricing strategies, support brand planning, and evaluate proposed pricing actions. Provide clear financial impact assessments for key pricing decisions, including launch pricing, WAC updates, and strategic price adjustments.
  • Support Contracting Value & Access teams by assessing gross‑to‑net (GTN) implications of contract proposals and updates. Develop analytical tools, models, and dashboards that enable scenario modeling and informed decision‑making. Effectively leverage internal data platforms and systems to deliver accurate and actionable insights.
  • Partner with Government Pricing colleagues to ensure strategic pricing proposals fully account for federal and state price reporting considerations, including Best Price, AMP, ASP, URA, and CPI-related implications
  • Lead and coordinate Pricing Committee activities, including gathering required documentation, preparing recommendations, managing workflows, and ensuring decisions are appropriately reviewed, approved, and recorded.
  • Serve as the Value & Access Strategy (VAST) lead for legacy brands, contributing to access strategies, pricing governance, and preparation of Grant of Authority recommendations across payer segments and distribution channels.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce pricing policies, governance standards, and procedural controls to ensure pricing actions are compliant, timely, accurately executed, and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Manage state price transparency requirements by coordinating timely submissions for the branded and biosimilar portfolio and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain a pricing database to track pricing changes, monitor competitive insights, document key decisions, and ensure accurate internal communication of price updates for both internal products and competitor activity.
  • Provide reimbursement expertise and support to brand teams, including oversight of external reimbursement consultants, and ensuring consistency with overall Pricing strategy.
  • Stay current with evolving industry regulations and trends by participating in pricing training, attending relevant industry conferences, and monitoring federal and state policies that impact pharmaceutical pricing and market access.

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, Market Access, Payer contracting or government pharmaceutical price forecasting/reporting.
  • Forecasting and predictive modeling experience.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, payer segments, the pharmaceutical pricing environment, and business analysis.
  • Strong financial analysis skills including extensive familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prepare and present results to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory requirements as it pertains to contracting, third party payers, and the government pricing environment.

 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

 

Approximately 10 – 20% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.

Occasional:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.

 

Visual Acuity:

  • Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

 

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

 

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $139,120 - $173,900 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
