The opportunity
Teva Global Operations (TGO) is seeking an analytically sharp, process-driven leader to serve as Deployment Process Lead for its Strategy team. This role will be critical in translating TGO’s ambitions into disciplined, measurable, and sustainable execution. The Deployment Process Lead will design, run, and improve the internal processes and rhythms that support enterprise-aligned strategy deployment, ensuring cross-functional integration, timely decision-making, and consistent follow-through.
This individual will work closely with strategy pillar leads, business analysts, finance, and functional stakeholders to ensure plans and programs are accurately captured, tracked, and aligned. The role is highly collaborative and requires deep coordination across functions and geographies, as well as strong process governance capabilities.
How you’ll spend your day
- Strategy deployment & operating rhythm: Orchestrate governance and rhythm for TGO strategy process (e.g., bottom-up planning, AOP cycle, strategy reviews, quarterly forums). Design and manage TGO’s deployment processes, including templates, tools, cadence, and mechanisms to track milestones, risks, and value realization. Consolidate and synthesize updates across functions into structured executive-ready materials, dashboards, and reports that enable leadership visibility and action
- Cross-functional initiative leadership: Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and other areas. Serve as the central node for key projects, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and executed effectively across the end-to-end value chain. Escalate risks proactively and recommend course corrections when delivery milestones are at risk, ensuring executional discipline and transparency
- Executive reporting & decision support: Generate high-impact, executive-ready reports and presentations that distill complex information into clear insights and support senior leadership in data-driven decision-making by providing analysis of operational performance, scenario planning, and progress of strategic initiatives. Prepare content and talking points for leadership updates, ensuring consistent messaging on strategy and results
- Continuous improvement & operational excellence: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices. Ensure that improvement projects are aligned with broader transformation goals, thereby enhancing productivity and quality across the network
- Performance tracking & execution management: Develop and implement robust mechanisms to track performance against strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Continuously monitor operational metrics and transformation program milestones, providing regular updates and dashboards to senior leadership on progress, risks, and achievements. Collaborate closely with Finance liaison to ensure strategy deployment aligns with financial planning and value tracking
- Reporting directly to the VP/SVP of TGO Strategy, the Strategy Deployment Process Lead is a key member of the Leadership Team with regular engagement with the Operations Leadership Team (OLT). This role oversees a team of ~5 and plays a pivotal role in shaping transformation program across Teva Global Operations
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field required.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred, especially with a focus in strategy, operations management, or organizational leadership
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strategic leadership experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or management consulting; background in Operations preferred. Exposure to enterprise or functional strategy work in a global environment highly valued
- Transformation mindset & analytical thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize functional strategies into a cohesive narrative that aligns with broader organizational goals. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex data into actionable insights and communication materials
- Cross-functional program coordination: Experience coordinating initiatives across multiple functions and regions. Skilled at managing deliverables and interdependencies in a matrixed setting
- Financial & business acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and operational drivers. Comfortable working with budgets, business cases, and performance data to support executive insights and decision-making
- Global mindset: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones in a multinational organization. Experience working with global teams and stakeholders
- Communication & narrative development: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, executive-level presentations that distill complex strategies into clear, aligned narratives
- Influencing in a matrixed environment: Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to influence across functions and levels, without direct authority. Skilled at building trust, aligning diverse perspectives, and fostering collaboration across a global, matrixed organization
- Continuous improvement focus: Proven experience in process optimization and embedding continuous improvement practices into team operations
- Other skills: High energy, intellectually curious, and collaborative team player. Demonstrated sound judgment, integrity, and resilience.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% globally
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $189,000 – 248,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
