Job Description

The Returns & Rebate Support Specialist ensures all returns are processed according to Teva's and/or customers' policies. The role is customer facing and requires timely and clear communications with external customers and internal teams. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timely issuance of Return Authorizations (RAs)
  • Proactive mitigation of unnecessary returns
  • Communication with management regarding return requests outside of Teva's policies
  • Communication with customers regarding RA instructions as well as return denials
  • Conduct expired and recalled cycle maintenance. Partner with Information Technology (IT) to improve returns processing and update Automated Returns System (ARS) logic as appropriate
  • Gather and analyze data to analyze returns trends
  • Partner with internal Teva teams to validate claims for Failure to Supply (FTS) products.  Take action to improve FTS valuations and forecasting.  Partner with IT to automate returns validations
  • Calculate and validate fees for recalled products.  Ensure payments in accordance with Teva's and/or customers' policies
  • Maintain logs of current returns and recalls policies and procedures
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable (AR) team to resolve variances between customer claims and Teva's calculations. Active participation in debit memo meetings to explain and resolve large outstanding debits.
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits with regard to returns
  • Support consumer drug takeback programs
  • Actively participate in endeavors to comply with Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • Detail oriented, organized and deadline sensitive
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments
  • Strongly skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • SAP and BI experience
  • Able to run BI reports, interpret and present to management
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
