Job Description

The Multichannel Engagement Lead’s primary role is to plan, develop, execute and optimize Integrated Tactical Plans (ITP) for in-line US brands. This individual works within the US brand team, and works closely with internal support functions and agency partners to manage all phases of execution for integrated multichannel plans. The Multichannel Engagement Lead also plays a key role in generating insights in order to drive ongoing optimization of brand campaigns and continual alignment of plans and strategies with brand objectives, goals and budgets.  The role will report directly to the Sr. Director Brand lead Psychiatry.  
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Be a brand champion

  • Have an active presence across all brand team activities including status meetings and planning sessions and be seen as an integral team member
  • Establishes strong business acumen by building and maintaining disease, market, and product knowledge including clear understanding of brand objectives, goals, campaigns, messages and strategies
  • Familiar with brand strengths, opportunities, competitive challenges, and key attributes of the brand lifecycle to provide strategic guidance on optimal multichannel engagement activities to drive growth based on specific brand and BU needs 
  • Works with brand and analytics team to provide input that defines/refines customer segmentation over time
  • Secure tactical approval through PARC (MLR review) and Manage marketing budgets for owned projects

Be a multichannel expert

  • Able to translate brand strategies into compelling iMCM plans driven by customer insights and analytics
  • Designs and champions an integrated multichannel tactical plan that is aligned to business objectives, maximizes brand relevance and value
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the multiple channels of customer engagement utilized by an organization across their varied customers (i.e., HCP, consumer, patient, payer) including how the channels can be utilized effectively in an integrated fashion to deliver cross-channel customer journeys
  • Constant focus on enabling the best customer experience in every interaction and always providing a way for that customer to continue their conversation with the brand
  • Keen focus on developing targeted and actionable multichannel measurement plans, selecting KPIs and setting goals, targets and measurement milestones that directly relate to business objectives
  • Reviews standard KPI reports to monitor performance of campaigns / tactics and conducts cross-agency campaign performance discussions 

Be a change agent

  • Influences the business approach to integrated multichannel management
  • Gives guidance to brands around the importance and positive business impact of a truly integrated marketing approach across all channels and customer groups
  • Defends recommendations with confidence and Continually educating others on best practices  

Be a great partner

  • Provides clear and firm direction to agencies and internal partners for channel mix selection, content development and tactical delivery
  • Work in a matrixed environment and successfully partner with cross functional teams, including brand teams and agency partners and Ability to lead cross functional stakeholders (e.g., Brand, IT, MCM) and coordinate across teams to ensure projects continue to move forward

Qualifications

Education Required: Undergraduate: BA/BS in applicable discipline
Advanced degree in relevant discipline
Education Preferred: Advanced degree in relevant discipline

Experience Required:

  • At minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
