The Manager, Government Pricing & Compliance, is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely government pricing calculations across federal programs. This role is responsible for the calculation, validation, and submission of key pricing metrics required under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP), including Average Manufacturer Price (AMP) and Best Price (BP). The position also ensures proper alignment of pricing data across internal systems and CMS.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience interpreting government regulations, and the ability to communicate complex pricing drivers to leadership. This position will report to the Associate Director, Government Pricing & Compliance.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Major duties and responsibilities required to achieve the position’s objectives and be successful in the Manager, Government Pricing & Compliance role.
• Calculate, validate, and submit AMP, BP, and other required government pricing.
• Assess the impact of commercial pricing and concessions on AMP and BP.
• Monitor contract activity, including transactional data for chargebacks, rebates, and administrative fees and understand the impact on AMP and BP.
• Research and resolve pricing discrepancies and data anomalies.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly pricing trends as well as impact analysis and present significant changes to senior leadership.
• Ensure URA values are accurate and aligned with CMS and internal systems.
• Collaborate with cross functional partners and support the broader Government Pricing team—whose members manage FSS, ASP, NFAMP, and PHS—to ensure accurate and compliant pricing operations.
• Oversee product setup and maintenance in Model N Flex and applicable government systems, ensuring accurate, compliant, and aligned product attributes across internal and external platforms to support regulatory review and reporting for both new product launches and existing products.
• Support external audits and SOX compliance activities as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to Finance, Contract Operations, and Senior Management.
Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Years of experience required:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within government pricing.
Specific type of experience required:
• Demonstrated broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory requirements as it pertains to contracting, third-party payers, and the government pricing environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. Government pricing statutes and regulations including knowledge of OBRA 90, OBRA 93, Deficit Reduction Act, VA Healthcare Act, the Medicare Modernization Act, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
• Strong financial analysis skills including extensive familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare and present results to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across business units and functional areas.
• Excellent attention to detail, as well as organizational, planning, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred:
• Model N Flex system experience.
Salary Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $103,000 – $129,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
