The Digital Marketing Intern will support key initiatives that improve the performance, compliance, and governance of our enterprise websites and digital assets. This role includes assisting with accessibility and privacy compliance, supporting website health and SEO optimization, contributing to paid search and broader search marketing activities, and participating in forward‑looking research that informs our evolving digital strategy. The position offers practical, hands‑on experience within a structured professional environment while contributing to critical digital operations across the organization.
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Length: minimum of 12 weeks (TBD during mid-May through mid-August)
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (onsite) for 12 weeks

How You’ll Spend Your Day
- During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the MCM (Multi-Channel Marketing) Digital team.
- This role supports key MCM Digital initiatives across website optimization, UX, SEO, paid search, accessibility, privacy, and research‑driven strategy projects.
- Paid Search
- Monitor competitor ads, messaging trends, landing page changes, and SERP features.
- Review auction insights weekly to identify shifts in competitive activity.
- Help identify and flag anomalies or issues across campaign performance.
- SEO Support
- Assist with keyword updates, metadata checks, and basic content/SEO audits.
- Help review competitive search trends and identify keyword and ranking insights.
- Use scanning tools to flag SEO issues and prepare simple reports for internal teams.
- Research & Digital Strategy
- Research emerging trends in AI‑enabled search (SGE, LLMs, entity optimization).
- Identify best practices to prepare websites for evolving AI‑driven search.
- Summarize industry updates to support long‑term SEO/SEM strategy and governance.
- Website Health
- Support monitoring of Core Web Vitals across enterprise sites.
- Compile performance summaries and highlight optimization opportunities.
- Share technical findings with internal teams and agency partners.
- Accessibility Support
- Help conduct accessibility scans using approved tools.
- Document issues, track remediation progress, and validate fixes.
- Support compliance efforts aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Privacy Compliance
- Check that website cookies are properly categorized per Teva’s consent standards.
- Verify scripts, trackers, and consent mappings are accurate and up to date.
- Perform QA to ensure cookie banners function correctly and don’t disrupt site behavior.
Your Skills and Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of digital marketing principles and practices.
- Experience: Prior experience or coursework in digital marketing, content advertising, and UX design.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SEO, paid search, social media marketing, and web analytics tools.
- Design Skills: Basic knowledge of UX design principles and experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and provide insights to improve digital marketing efforts.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
