Our Team, Your Impact

We are seeking a highly analytical and tech‑forward Finance Business Analyst Intern to support digital transformation initiatives across our Finance organization. This role focuses on evaluating business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and leveraging technology—including AI, automation, and advanced analytics—to improve accuracy, speed, and decision-making across the function.

 

You will translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions, working closely with Senior Manager, Business Finance Transformation.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

  • Analyze current finance and business processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Support with mapping and redesigning workflows using tools such as Visio, Miro, or process-mapping software.
  • Learn, recommend and support implementation of AI- and ML-enabled solutions, such as predictive forecasting or automated reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear, technical solution designs.

 

Technology, Tools & Automation

  • Support in building and maintaining automated dashboards, reports, and models using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, or Excel automation.
  • Document technical workflows and assist with user guides and training materials.

 

Data & Financial Analysis

  • Conduct data analysis to support forecasting, reporting, and financial planning activities.
  • Develop insights and KPIs that help assess performance, drive efficiency, and support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across automated systems and reporting tools.

 

Business Partnering & Communication

  • Assist with translating complex data and technical findings into clear, concise insights for nontechnical audiences.
  • Assist with preparing presentations, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

 

Your experience and qualifications

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

 

Key Capabilities

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Business Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in process improvement and technology.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel and exposure to advance analytics, tools and automation
  • Ability to translate business processes and requirements into structured, technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across business and technical teams.
  • Foundational understanding of finance and accounting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position will be remote or hybrid in the Parsippany office 2 days a week with flexibility.
