Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely administration, analysis, and quality control of the Sales Incentive Compensation plans for field selling teams in Teva’s North American business unit.
This includes, but is not limited to: quarterly goal/quota setting deliverables, plan administration, quality control of all vendor-produced incentive reports, ad hoc analytical support, as well as development and implementation of additional insight reports as business needs dictate. This individual will also be responsible for answering inquiries from the sales force related to incentive compensation. The ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships with sales management, Sales Operations colleagues, IT, external partners and other stakeholders is required. In addition, strong technical, analytical, and communication skills as well as innovative/flexible thinking abilities are critical to success in this role.

Travel Requirements: Approximately 10%

Essential Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Analytical support of the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of incentive compensation plans, reports, and results including development and deployment of goals/quotas; identifies and leverages opportunities to enhance planning and reporting processes  
  • Provides management and field sales teams with monthly/quarterly results information, including ranking reports; answers inquiries from the field as needed    
  • Provide insight into Incentive Compensation design, development, and implementation of field based contest in support of base annual incentive plans as well as with information required for decision-making related to incentive design and outcomes
  • Administers, maintains, and provides suite of roster reports to the Sales Planning & Field Incentives team, Sampling Accountability Team, and ZS Associates to ensure accurate incentive eligibility calculations  
  • Provides management with information required for decision-making related to incentive design and outcomes    
  • Provides input to planning and reporting calendars and processes with internal and external clients    
  • Other projects, development, and duties as required/assigned including following Teva Safety, Health, Compliance, and Environmental policies and procedures.  


Position Requirements
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline 
Education Preferred:   

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of roles, sales operations, IT, and other analytical roles preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working within field incentive compensation
  • Strong SAS, MS Access, and Excel skills, including the use of VBA and the ability to extract information from a data warehouse using SAS or other extraction/reporting tools.
  • Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks
  • Work effectively across functions as a team player to achieve common goals without hierarchy, politics or self-interest.
  • Client focused, proactive and results oriented with ability to support clients across multiple locations.
