This position is located in 400 Interpace Parkway Parsippany, NJ 07054, but will have to travel to our PA location for a portion of time.

Job Description

The AR Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst will be part of the AR Collections/Deductions Team and will be responsible for creating, maintaining, updating and interpreting the various analytical and audit reports required on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc basis.  He/she will also be the escalation point for the AR Staff to assist with account analysis and reconciliations related to deductions, invoices, credits and payments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. US and Canada AR close coordination with all impacted parties.
  2. The timely delivery via email of all reports related to each monthly/quarterly close including the Revenue Recognition reporting .
  3. Organize and document all critical data related to period close for future reference.
  4. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on all AR matters related to returns and pricing/shortage claims.
  5. As applicable he or she will train new departmental employees on Teva AR Policies and processes and support/guide current staff members on difficult issues related to the Order to Cash process.
  6. Timely preparation and delivery of all Audit requests to both internal and external auditors within assigned deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Supports the critical month-end financial close process and provides timely responses to all Revenue, Audit, Tax and GL Department inquiries.  Utilizes advanced skills in Excel, Oracle, BI and Discoverer to accumulate, organize and then report on sales, invoice, deduction and payment data within defined monthly and quarterly periods.

Provides direct guidance and assistance to Senior and AR Representatives on all matters related to deduction management and account/return reconciliations.  Coordinates quarterly meetings with impact related internal Departments to ensure major AR issues are reviewed and addressed.

Actively participates and provides support in the SAP/ERP Implementation process.  Utilizes extensive Oracle knowledge base to assist in the incorporation of go-forward AR process redesigns

Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business or related discipline

5+ years Accounts Receivable experience within the Pharma industry (exposure and expertise in cash application, collections, deduction resolution, and debit/credit postings).

Proficiency in steps of wholesale and retail distribution and application to Order to Cash process.

Advance knowledge of Pharma reverse logistics and pricing models.

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, vlookup) required.

Oracle and SAP experience highly preferred

Specific knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, both US and Global strongly preferred.
