The opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Global Pipeline Forecasting to lead our forecasting efforts across the Innovative pipeline with focus in CNS (Central Nervous System) and Immunology therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing the forecast process for a diverse portfolio of products, with a deep understanding of the US, EU, and other international markets. This role will be pivotal in driving forecast accuracy, process improvements, and strategic insights to support business decisions.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Forecasting Leadership: Lead the global forecasting process for CNS and Immunology pipeline products, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts that support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics in the US, EU, and other international markets.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the forecasting process for a portfolio of products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market realities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement forecast process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness to market changes.
  • Regional Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams to align on forecasting assumptions, build and ensure consistency across markets
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure integrated forecasting and alignment with business strategies.
  • Data Utilization: Utilize advanced forecasting tools and methodologies to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and present detailed forecast reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
    Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure buy-in for forecast outcomes.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in forecasting, with a focus on CNS and Immunology therapeutic areas is required.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the US, EU, and other international markets is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in forecasting software and tools; strong analytical and quantitative skills is required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and creatively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in forecast process improvements and implementation of best practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and market access environments in key markets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $163,000 – $210,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
