The opportunity

  • Oversee and act as Teva primary point of contact and first point of escalation for a group of Contract Manufacturing (CMO)/In licensing partners (10-15% travel expected)
  • Establish and maintain senior level supplier relationships 
  • Hold suppliers accountable for adherence to contractual commitments and operational performance KPIs

How you’ll spend your day

  • Manage a cross functional team (SC, Procurement, MS&T, Quality etc) supporting day to day operational activities
  • Establish & execute governance processes to monitor & manage supplier performance
  • Lead and manage supplier/business conflicts and constructively lead conflict resolution
  • In collaboration with other business stakeholders develop longer term supplier strategies including but not limited to continuous improvement objectives, portfolio optimization and growth/exit plans
  • Proactively identify performance risks and coordinate the development of mitigation plans.
  • Effectively communicate and align on business priorities with relevant stakeholders
  • Individual coaching and development of cross functional team members

Your experience and qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years in supplier management and good knowledge of industry best practices in Supply Chain & External Manufacturing Management
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or other regulated industry. On site manufacturing experience preferred
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology or Operations. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, lead and execute on a variety of assignments and action plans; driving for results and managing complex projects.
  • Strong strategic agility, broad perspective and business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, conceptual and quantitative abilities.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, effective written and oral communication skills, strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels, and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to craft and deliver communication, influence audiences, and lead change management both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority
  • Ability to work independently

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $170,000 – 220,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
