Our Team, Your Impact

As the Director of US Generics, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy Management, this position will lead critical US Generics projects, driving substantial impact on our business. Responsible to align project scope and direction with the operational and strategic functions of the US Generics organization.  This position is expected to make key decisions, directly impacting US Generics processes and responsibilities, with very limited management input.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

•    Primary representative and decision maker for US Generics on projects impacting daily processes and responsibilities.

•    Lead high priority projects, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to make operational decisions and set strategic goals.  Ensuring that overall designs and output are aligned to and directly support the responsibilities of US Generics business.

•    Identify, construct and present to US Generics Leadership new projects and initiatives which add operational and financial efficiencies to the US Generics business.

•    Day-to-day management, monitoring business operations to ensure project progress.

•    Provide routine status reports and program summaries including scope/schedule/quality risks, project status, resource allocation and impact to US Generics organization.

•    Lead and coordinate procurement processes and allocation of resources, as appropriate.

•    Within projects, proactively work to identify and remove obstacles (escalate as necessary) that would otherwise interfere with the responsibilities and processes of the US Generics organization’s day-to-day functions.

•    Evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics to measure overall project and teams’ overall success.

•    Create and document new processes and collaborate with US Generics teams during any implementations or transitions to new processes or systems.

•    Assure that delivery and quality of projects is not impacted by execution or lack of understanding of key US Generics operations requirements.

•    Create documentation and train US Generics team members, as necessary, on new systems, tools processes, as implementation is finalized.

•    Continued high level participation in all projects post-implementation to ensure that there are no negative impacts to the US Generics processes and to align as needed prior to any new releases/versions are put into production.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. 

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred but any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. 

•    10 years’ experience in Project Management with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

•    Must have clear and extensive knowledge of US Generic processes, how they’re linked, and the multiple systems and tools used by the teams to successfully complete their work.  

•    Price Right, Trajectory, IBP, SAC, RF/AOP/LRP processes, FTS, Qlik, BI

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Approximately 10% domestic travel throughout the US. 

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $165,000 – $216,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
