The opportunity
The Chief of Staff, Head Commercial Excellence will be a critical leadership role within the full US Commercial organization responsible for proactively enabling Commercial strategy, enhancing alignment and execution, and driving operational excellence.
The role requires a strategic mindset, as well as an ability to manage complex details and drive actions across a variety of areas. The ideal incumbent is a highly motivated and highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills and judgment. You will be a trusted advisor, confidante, and problem-solver, bringing your expertise and resourcefulness to every challenge.
- Responsible for leading key initiatives across all Business Units of US, and is an important cross-functional business partner to Medical, Legal, Regulatory, HR, and IT.
- Provides program management strategic and operational improvements and efficiencies in support of the US success across commercial.
- Develop and manage a process for measuring and reporting progress on high-priority initiatives and programs across the Leadership Team.
- Creates process, coordinates, and tracks cross functional planning for USLT.
- Collaborate with US Leadership Team to lead a consistent framework for planning process and corporate updates, including Investor Relations
- Well-versed in compliance, regulatory, and legal policies for reimbursement, product coverage across channels and payers, and HCP engagements.
Position is based in Parsippany, NJ however will consider remote for the right candidate, east coast is preferred.

- As a member of the US Commercial Leadership Team, work closely with the EVP and other members of the team to assist in setting strategic direction for the organization and ensure alignment with strategic objectives across functions, regions, and business units.
- Collaborate with the EVP to define and implement a comprehensive transformation plan for the US Commercial organization.
- Identify key areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance innovation and efficiency.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution across all functions.
- Drive initiatives and focused projects that optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure local initiatives are scoped effectively to deliver maximum impact.
- Foster strong business partnerships with segments and enabling functions.
- Develop and manage a process for measuring and reporting progress on high-priority initiatives and projects across the US organization. Keep the EVP and other stakeholders informed on key accomplishments, issues, and next steps.
- Lead and/or manage special projects and high-profile initiatives, as appropriate.
- Act as a liaison between the EVP and other company senior executives to ensure alignment and coordination on a wide variety of cross-functional matters.
- In partnership with US Communications, support the EVP and leadership team in defining and developing high-impact executive communications, including presentations for Executive Committee and Board meetings, as well as Town Hall meetings and other internal and external audiences.
- In partnership with Investor Relations, prepare US Q&A documents for quarterly investor calls.
- In partnership with US Finance, coordinate and facilitate the AOP/LRP processes for US Commercial.
- Develop US Commercial Leadership Team meeting agendas and manage key meetings to ensure that important decisions and action items are fully addressed.
- Manage the US Commercial Administration budget.
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of Biotech / Pharma experience
- Breadth of experience across multiple Commercial functions (e.g. – Sales, Marketing, Operations & Analytics, Patient Services, Market Access)
- Previous people management experience

Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $236,000 – 295,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
