The opportunity

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly capable and execution-oriented Associate Director, US Biosimilar Operations to support the continued growth of its biosimilar portfolio. Reporting to the Sr. Director, US Biosimilars Commercial Team, this role will serve as a key operational connector across functions — with a focus on leading and coordinating special cross-functional projects, commercial process support, and supporting operational effectiveness across US biosimilar organization and cross-functional partners. 

 

The ideal candidate will have proven success in cross functional departments within the pharmaceutical industry with a special focus and preference for analytical skills and business communication as this individual will be supporting AOP, LRP, QBR and sales updates.  This incumbent must have strong relationships and communication skills as they will interact with cross-functional leaders across the organization engaging in a variety of Teva-specific and industry-related topics. 

How you’ll spend your day

  • Stand up internal project management organization within biosimilars and lead special projects to support strategic commercial goals.
  • Aid in preparation of key business deliverables including QBRs, LRP/AOP planning, sales presentations, and KPI updates.
  • Coordinate corporate business reporting for US Biosimilars, including gathering information and preparing presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews, Investor Relations Earnings calls, and other related forums.  
  • Support senior leaders in US biosimilar in identifying and executing areas for process improvements and efficiencies. 
  • Serve as a liaison between US Commercial teams and internal stakeholders to facilitate follow-up on key action items and ensure accountability.

Your experience and qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, or related industry
  • Biosimilar experience is a plus but not required.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the U.S. biosimilar or specialty product marketplace.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; demonstrated ability to build and deliver professional, executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is strongly preferred.  


Travel Requirements: 

Approximately up to 15% travel to support key meetings and cross-functional planning

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $142,000 – 186,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
