The opportunity

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide comprehensive Financial Evaluations for Generic and Biosimilars Projects. The position will also assist with set up, analysis, tracking and review of significant 3rd party transactions including Royalty payments and True Ups.

 

Location: This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) based in our Parsippany, NJ office

How you’ll spend your day

  • Lead/support financial evaluations for Biosimilars and Generics areas while working closely with business areas including Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Development, Legal and R&D Team members.
  • Develop financial scenario analyses using business variables and identify and recommend optimal decisions pathways with value implications for management decision support along with Risks and Opportunities.
  • Provide overall program management support to the Generics and Biosimilars Finance area including clear communication regarding the timelines and deliverables of all FP&A Activities.
  • Consolidate and track high value items for US Generics and Biosimilars area such as major partnership true ups, etc.
  • Provide ongoing Systems related support to Biosimilars area including ensuring accuracy of financial data in the systems, loading forecasts and plans and checking the accuracy of the costing information.
  • Delivers financial presentations to key members of the leadership team.
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws

Your experience and qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting;
  • Preferred: CPA or MBA

 

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial planning and/or analysis role, preferably in various capacities or rotations in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Demonstrated Financial Evaluation experience and advanced Excel & Modeling experience
  • Ability to understand complex contractual terms and model financial implications of scenarios and options to recommend optimal solutions.

 

Experience Preferred:

  • Knowledge and understanding of US Generics and Biosimilars markets including pricing dynamics
  • Financial evaluation experience including business development projects
  • Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Experience with Teva’s procedures and internal financial systems
  • Exceptional ability to analyze and understand large scale and cross functional information.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work with individuals at various levels of the organization in a collaborative manner.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility in assuming new responsibilities as business needs evolve
