The opportunity

Teva is implementing its ambitious Pivot to Growth strategy, with biosimilars serving as a cornerstone of the company’s success. Reporting to the Director Biosimilar Pipeline and Governance, this role will serve a key function by operationalizing the strategic planning and execution of pipeline activities for the U.S. biosimilars market, ensuring alignment with Teva’s Pivot to Growth objectives.

 
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in long-range planning (LRP), strong analytical skills, business acumen, and effective communication, as this individual will be interacting with cross-functional partners across the organization, including forecasting, finance, R&D, business development, market access, legal, and regulatory affairs.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Market Analysis: Accountable for working with cross-functional partners in Forecasting & Insights to lead projects and deliver a comprehensive U.S. market landscape assessment, and to identify potential commercial opportunities for pipeline assets
  • Pipeline Planning and Launch Management: Understand key trends, conduct robust scenario planning and develop risk mitigation tactics to deliver on Teva’s portfolio and product level strategies
  • Operational Readiness: As part of the LRP, a key component of the role would be to ensure operational readiness, working closely with R&D, regulatory and IP to identify and prepare for key milestones
  • Forecasting: Support the development of financial forecasts for pipeline assets across U.S. biosimilars portfolio, and the development of business cases for BD&L assessments. Aid in preparation and review of key forecasting elements: market landscape, competitive dynamics, analogue research, market access, pricing dynamics, GTNs, and sales & marketing cost projections
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders to facilitate, prepare, and inform go-to-market strategies for near-term launches, including cross-functional partnerships with Global biosimilars team to ensure alignment of U.S. commercial objectives
  • Reporting: Prepare and present key deliverables to senior management outlining strategic choices, providing progress updates, and to ensure ongoing focus and alignment of agreed set of goals

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or other advanced degree a plus
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, consulting or equivalent
  • Experience in pipeline planning or corporate strategy
  • Biosimilar experience is a plus but not required
  • Analytics/market research experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; demonstrated ability to build and deliver professional, executive-level presentations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is strongly preferred

 

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Travel requirements

Approximately up to 15% travel to support key meetings and cross-functional planning.

Compensation data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $143,360 – $188,160 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
