The opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Marketing – Schizophrenia Customer Experience and Education, the Associate Director, Marketing – Consumer Experience TEV-749 is primarily responsible for developing patient strategies and promotional materials to build consumer engagement and educate on the benefits of TEV-749, Teva’s investigational LAI treatment for schizophrenia. They will own and execute consumer-focused strategy both pre- and post-launch and ensure responsiveness to patient-related market research. The role is also responsible for building unbranded schizophrenia educational content. It is designed to support the community, position Teva as a leader in schizophrenia, and serve as lead generation for the brands. This role will work closely with critical partners in Advocacy, HCP marketing, Patient Services, and other key commercial stakeholders.
How you’ll spend your day
- Lead consumer-focused strategy development for the TEV-749 brand pre- and post-launch in alignment with the overarching Franchise strategy.
- Create impactful messages that integrate data, consumer insights, and business strategies to engage consumers.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners in advocacy and Patient Services that drive towards mutual goals.
- Plan and conduct market research to understand the needs of patients and caregivers, develop insights, and incorporate them into TEV-749 brand planning and execution of marketing tactics.
- Strategically engage and lead various agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans while ensuring resources are being allocated efficiently and based on strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with advocacy to ensure tactics are effectively executed and patient insights are incorporated into consumer engagement experiences.
- Build customer relationship management (CRM) communications and manage them to drive conversion and retention.
- Develop and execute a Teva unbranded schizophrenia platform designed to the provide the community with education, resources, and support.
- Set and manage budgets with a high degree of financial stewardship.
- Set up processes to collect the data necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of consumer-focused marketing tactics.
- Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience or equivalent is required
- Experience in schizophrenia or other psychiatry markets (e.g., bipolar, major depressive disorder) preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen.
- Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition.
- Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship.
- Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI).
- Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinated projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required.
- Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US.
