Our Team, Your Impact

This role enables strategic and tactical business decisions for a subset of products within the US Innovative Medicines portfolio. Innovative Portfolio spans CNS/Mental Health and Immunology therapeutic areas and includes mature and recently launched brands as well as late-stage, pre-launch development assets. Core responsibilities center on partnering cross-functionally to proactively identify key business questions and to develop and execute plans to address them. The role leverages a range of appropriate information sources to deliver meaningful, actionable, and integrated insights.

 

Location: This is a hybrid position (3 days/week in office) based in our Parsippany, NJ office.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Work cross-functionally to identify key business questions within a standard planning cycle and develop insights approaches to address them.
  • Monitor trends and determine ad hoc analysis that need to be conducted to help continue delivering strong brand performance.
  • Develop and implement insights plans for different life-cycle phases of a product (pre-launch, launch, mature brands) that address cross-functional business needs.
  • Work with third party primary market research vendors to conduct necessary studies: from MSA, to RFP, to methodology design, to sample composition, to instrument development, to analysis plans, to reports.
  • Lead actionable integrated analysis for each stage of business planning – situation analysis for tactical planning, landscape understanding for strategic planning, pricing and GTN competitive analysis for financial planning, etc.
  • Manage product specific CI as aligned to Teva’s CI framework.
  • Provide key inputs for forecasting assumptions.
  • Proactively reach out to cross-functional teams, such as secondary analytics, HEOR, market access analytics, Specialty Pharmacy analytics, and others to triangulate and integrated different sources of information for efficient and robust insights generation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver succinct and actionable insights summaries across multiple sources of information to drive business decisions.
  • Lead processes to explore new approaches and new vendor partnerships for more efficient and innovative solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally to provide key inputs into resource optimization analysis to represent trends/preferences/priorities for each customer segment.
  • Represent customer voice for multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in appropriate BD assessments.
  • Present integrated insights to different levels of the organization in a clear way that leads to productive discussions and successful decision making.
  • Represent customer voice for all segments – patients, caregivers, HCPs, Specialty Pharmacy, Payers, etc.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, analytics, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience managing and conducting successful analytics projects.
  • Understanding of consumer, HCP, payer market research and measurement of all customer promotional investments.
  • Proven ability to integrate multiple data sources (including secondary data) and generate actionable insights enabling effective decision-making.
  • Experience successfully working with complex cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and help deliver on strong performance goals.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Use a computer (including participating in face to face video calls/meetings camera)
  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Travel as required, which may include travel by car, train, or plane
  • Occasional bending and/or twisting

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $148,800 - $186,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
