Job Description

The Associate Director, Government Pricing (“GP”) Administration is responsible for the oversight of the 340B Public Health Service Program (“340B”) and all related disclosures, reporting and legislative requirements. The Associate Director GP Administration will work independently and will support or have direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the GP team including, but not limited to: AMP/BP/URA/340B price calculations, validation analyses and submissions to ensure Teva is compliant with the applicable laws and regulations. The Associate Director, GP Administration should be a GP subject matter expert and should possess strong analytical, communication and time management skills. This position will report to the Director, Government Pricing & Reporting.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the calculation, validation & accurate/timely submission of the quarterly 340B statutory pricing to OPAIS. Acts as PC for the OPAIS system, performing quarterly reconciliations. Creates pricing files for upload to ModelN Flex. Performs in-depth
  • analyses of pricing variances & trends. Performs ad-hoc modeling and analyses.
  • Performs provisional (estimated) 340B pricing on new product/NDC launches. Manages the quarterly PHS true-up process which includes the recalculation of PHS prices and working with outside vendor to reimburse 340B covered entities of applicable 
  • overcharges. Works with finance to ensure accruals are accurate. 
  • Responsible for creating and administering the 340B self-audit disclosure policy. Works directly with 340B CEs to review, validate and negotiate refunds owed to Teva. Creates & maintains robust tracking system and works with finance to accurately record funds.
  • Performs monthly domain table suspense review and works with internal business partners to ensure new products, customers & contracts are loaded into Flex & GP systems. Reviews new transactional codes for application to GP calculations and coordinates the GP policy filter updates as necessary. Works with IT to complete monthly data reconciliation.
  • Responsible for maintenance of internal methodology/policy documents and standard operating procedures supporting this role/business function and other ad-hoc projects/duties as required.
     

 

Qualifications

Education:   Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or a combination of direct working experience in Pharmaceuticals commensurate to this role.

Experience required:  

  • At least 5 years prior Pharmaceutical role in Government Pricing with brand and generic experience preferred.  
  • Supervisory/direct people management- ability to manage a team and delegate responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of the GP regulations and reporting requirements                          
  • Implement strong planning and organizational skills and practices
  • Able to effectively communicate complex analyses/concepts
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external customers as appropriate
  • Overcome barriers to establish successful relationships
  • Understand impact of GP/FSS function on gross to net & company financials
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of brand & generic contracts/discounts including cash discounts, service fees, performance incentives, trade discounts, etc.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; able to identify & resolve complex problems 
  • Able to organize & present clear, thorough analyses to management
  • Analyze processes & systems to improve efficiencies/effectiveness through standardization, simplification and automation

  • Knowledge of ModelN Flex and Revitas GP.
