The opportunity
The Purchase Based Rebates Analyst, processes commercial rebate claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rebate contract and internal processing procedures for all Teva generic products as well as brand/specialty products. He / She will process and validate all Rebates, analyze rebate differences, accurately forecast weekly rebate payments for Treasury, review all customer contracts and maintain superior level of customer service. This positions reports to the Manager, Purchase Based Rebates, Brand and Generic.
How you’ll spend your day
• Responsible for processing Rebates and Admin Fees in accordance to T&C’s.
• Responsible for pulling together the rebate and admin payment support for the review and verification by the Manager, Purchase Based Rebates for approval.
• Analyze rebate variances and determine cause(s) of any differences and provide solutions, working closely with the AR team.
• May train for the calculation and processing of Specialty Rebates, Volume Incentive Rebates, and other rebates processed in the Model N Flex system and/or manually.
• Calculate Brand/Generic claims accurately and timely, provide monthly accrual needs to Revenue Management teams.
• Accurately record current and future rebate payments for cash reporting to Treasury. Will be responsible to help in the analysis for providing accurate weekly rebate check payment forecasts to ensure timely customer payment and maximize Teva’s cash flow.
• Help in the review of customer T&Cs (draft and final versions). Ensure that all changes and new rebates are set-up accurately in Model N Flex and are properly accrued for Revenue Management.
• Analyze customer deductions to determine if valid and work closely with A/R to resolve while also looking for trends.
• Work with IT to develop and implement rebate reports to support customer payments in BI tools.
Note: This role is a hybrid role and can report to either the Parsippany, NJ site or North Wales, PA site, whichever is closet to the person selected.
Your experience and qualifications
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
• Required: HS Diploma AND at least 1 year Pharmaceutical operational experience, preferably with reimbursements (Purchase Based or Managed Care Rebates, Medicaid Rebates, Chargebacks).
• Excel required; Model N Flex or comparable software and/or SAP a plus
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $77,000 – $96,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
