The opportunity

As HR Associate Director, you will oversee key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic workforce planning. How you’ll spend your day

  • Strategic support to the management of the business area in all aspects of human resources in Teva API's Site located in Opava.
  • Serves as an expert within own function. The role will include oversight of all HR activities (H2R, Payroll, Talent Aquisition HR Ops etc), together with the other HR team member.
  • Support for managers in oversee employee's development plans, mentorship programs, and succession planning.
  • The HR Manager will implement and execute all HR segments (employment, education, performance management, talent management, organizational changes, business transformation etc.)
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement & retention including compensation plan. Responsible for adherence with COL budget and estimations.
  • Strategic identification of future needs and development of competencies and knowledge.
  • Identify and address performance issues and support talent development.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback, coaching, and development plans.
  • Improving the overall experience of employees and well-being together with managers of the business area.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees. 
  • Promoting TAPI new brand and influencing TAPI market position through cooperation with faculties and institutions.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Master's degree is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in the field of HR management.
  • Czech/Slovak and English language fluency.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience negotiation with unions.
