Our Team, Your Impact
Under close supervision, the Warehouse Operator I is responsible for accurate processing of materials to support Companywide operations. The Warehouse Operator I is also responsible for meeting the company’s standards for safety, security and productivity. Because employees in classifications at this level may be in a training capacity, such individuals do not require significant work experience in the applicable field.
Shift Details: This position requires availability for the second shift, starting at 11AM Monday-Friday (Non-negotiable). The shift duration can vary between 8 to 12 hours, depending on operational needs and is subject to change dependent on business needs.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Prepares orders for Shipping by Picking, Scanning and Packing in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs replenishment activities in a timely and efficient manner; compares product description to restocking requests form and physical location.
• Conducts cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
• Processes returns from customers; classifies back to stocks, damages and expired products.
• Prepares debit memos going back to vendors.
• Operates hand lift, must be able to be certified in power fork lift operation.
• Loads and unloads freight trucks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Maintains tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Flexible, willing to work overtime when necessary.
Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or experience with distribution of perishable goods.
- Minimum of One (1) year of Warehouse work experience.
- Strong inventory control skills, including use of RF scanners, ERP, and WMS platforms for real‑time inventory accuracy
- Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and techniques of material handling
- Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) within a regulated warehouse or production environment
- Experience handling temperature‑sensitive materials, including cold chain processes, temperature monitoring, and proper storage protocols
- Proficiency with batch/lot tracking, lot reconciliation, and accurate completion of batch record documentation
- Background in handling controlled substances or other regulated products, with adherence to compliance and security requirements
- Certified or trained in forklift operation, with knowledge of OSHA‑aligned safety procedures and equipment handling
- Hands‑on experience performing cycle counts, managing returns, and executing quality hold or quarantine procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
• Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of standing, walking pushing and pulling, stooping, crouching, climbing and walking, occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Incumbents may be exposed to electrical hazards, and dangerous tools and equipment.
• It should be understood that this is a hands on position in a fast paced distribution center environment that has multiple daily receiving and shipping deadlines. The position can entail early morning, evening, and/or weekend work hours due to product launches, physical inventories or as the business dictates.
Visual Acuity:
• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
