Teva’s US Distribution & Logistics offers summer positions that cross over all facets of the business. The US Distribution & Logistics organization team is responsible for receiving, processing and shipping finished products to customers in the US and worldwide and collaborates with various departments and teams including commercial operations, quality, finance, IT, customs & trade, procurement and global transportation. Our summer hires will work in conjunction with these areas stimulate creative problem-solving and collaborative leadership, while contributing to the overall goal of bringing medicines to market in a quality, compliant, on-time, in full manner. Individuals selected for roles will join our teams in North Wales, PA.

• Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (onsite) for 12 weeks
How you’ll spend your day
A summer candidate can expect to join a team that fits well with their field of study and interests within US Distribution & Logistics. The ideal candidate should have a desire to enter the workforce after graduation in a Distribution/Logistics operational role and can expect challenging assignments with the opportunity to apply knowledge and gain work experience within a professional environment.
Core responsibilities are as follows:
• Perform challenging, demanding and diverse assignments respective to the role and projects within the US Distribution & Logistics organization.
• Work with Distribution and Transportation leadership to support daily and monthly operational initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings to introduce new topics and communicate any relevant updates.
• Spend time understanding all aspects of Teva’s Distribution Centers (DCs), including Operations, Inventory Control, and Order Fulfillment.
• Spend time understanding all aspects of Teva’s Transportation operations, including carrier routings, freight management, and freight bill audit/payment.
• Support strategic projects, by working with key stakeholders, within Teva as well as outside providers. Key projects would cover projects to improve operational efficiency and accuracy within the DCs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

• Completed at least sophomore year in a College or University studying applicable coursework (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• Strong academic performance
• Self-motivated, with the ability to be agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, innovation and initiative
