Job Description

Teva R&D is looking for Cell Bank Preparation Team Leader.

Primary purpose and function of this position
To lead and manage the cell bank preparation unit

Major duties and responsibilities

To prepare, test and approve mammalian cell banks for biopharmaceutical manufacturing
To be on top of current regulations in the field of mammalian cell banks
To support submissions and correspondences with regulatory authority
To execute experiments using cell culture methodologies, within time constraints, while following adequate documentation practices
To be on top of relevant technologies in the field of cryopreservation, to evaluate novel technologies and to introduce them to the relevant processes
To write scientific documents: protocols, reports and SOPs, according to industry practices
To communicate and collaborate with other functions and individuals at the biosimilar development team, and with other TEVA units
To summarize and present activities, progress and achievements in various forums including management
 

Qualifications

Ph.D in life sciences / biotechnology
Experience at the relevant field with at least 4 years in the biopharmaceuticals industry or the healthcare sector
Experience as a scientific group leader with at least 2 years
Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Extensive experience and knowledge in mammalian cell culture methods and cryopreservation
Knowledge in GLP / GMP guidelines
Good team work capabilities
Hebrew- fluent, English - reading and writing
