Job Description

Teva Pharmaceutical is hiring Bioprocess Technologies Scientist - to take a major role in the efforts to develop and improve production processes in bioreactors for the development of biosimilar molecules.

 

The position includes:

•    Development of production processes for manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals: micro, mini, lab scale and scaled up pilot processes.

•    Design and execution of experiments, using bioprocess methodologies within time constraints, while following adequate documentation practices.

•    Writing of scientific documents: protocols, reports and SOPs, according to industry practices

•    Being up to date in relevant scientific literature, novel technologies and scientific development

•    Communication and collaboration with other functions and individuals, at the biosilmilar development team, and with other TEVA units

•    Summarizing and presenting activities, progress and achievements in various forums

•    Supporting tech transfer and registration of products

Qualifications

•    Ph. D in biomedical / biotechnology / biochemical engineering / life science or M.Sc and experience in the relevant fields.

•    Experience in the biotechnology industry

•    Experience and knowledge in cell culture, fermentation and bioreactor engineering

•    Basic knowledge in GLP/GMP guidelines

•    Good team work capabilities

•    Fluent Hebrew and English
