Job Description

Teva Pharmaceutical is hiring Head of Cell Line Development- to lead and manage the Cell Line development group. 
The position includes: 

  • Scientific / professional / technical management & guidance of scientists and research assistance in the Cell Line Development group
  • Development and improvement of expression vectors for high level expression of biopharmaceuticals in recombinant cell lines.
  • Generation of mammalian cell lines producing recombinant biopharmaceuticals
  • Preparation and characterization of mammalian cell banks
  • Continues evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve efficiencies and yield 
  • Support submissions and correspondences with regulatory authority
  • Support of tech transfer and registration of products

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Life Science/ Biotechnology 
  • Postdoctoral experience- an advantage 
  • At least 5 years of industry experience as a scientific group leader, with proven track record managing research and development teams in the biotechnology industry
  • Broad scientific knowledge in molecular and mammalian cell biology 
  • Experience in project management
  • Familiarity with relevant guidelines, regulatory issues, GMP requirements quality standards, etc.
  • CMC background – an advantage
  • Good team work capabilities
  • Fluent Hebrew and English
