Job Description

Primary purpose and function of this position:
• To take a major role in the efforts to develop analytical methods and to provide analytical services for the development of Biosimilar molecules


Major duties and responsibilities:
• To develop analytical methods for physicochemical characterization of proteins (such as HPLC, UPLC, capillary electrophoretic, immunoassays, etc.).
• To write scientific documents: protocols, reports, SOPs according to industry practice.
• To execute experiments using AM methodologies within time constraints, while following the adequate documentation practices
• Introduction of new technologies to improve analytical analysis
• To communicate and collaborate with other functions and individuals at the biosimilar development team and with other TEVA functions
• To present activities, progress and achievements in various forums


• MSc. (Ph.D is an advantage) in biotechnology, chemistry or life science.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
• Experience and knowledge in analytical methods for proteins. Experience and in particular in HPLC/UPLC, LCMS(advantage)
• Basic knowledge in GLP/GMP guidelines
• Good team work capabilities and excellent communication skills
• Hebrew- fluent, English- reading and writing
