How you’ll spend your day

  • Responsible for filing of income tax returns of all legal entities of Teva.
  • Ensure that Advance Tax projections are reviewed and paid as per the due dates. 
  • Review Audit preparations and ensure that Tax Audit Report of all the applicable legal entities of Teva are filed as per the due date. 
  • Ensure that Transfer Pricing compliances/ APA Compliances are filed for all entities Teva as per the due dates.
  • Income Tax Assessment preparation and submission. Ensure that all assessments are completed and complied with as per the timelines.
  • Assist in filing Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) applications for Teva entities, subsequent hearings and site visit preparations by APA authorities. 
  • Guide team in filing GST monthly and annual Return and ensure that GST compliances are done as per the statutory timelines.
  • Guide team in filing GST refunds of one or more legal entities of Teva and ensure that working capital of the company should not be blocked for long period.  
  • Replying to various Income Tax and GST notices and routine show cause notices as per the timelines and ensure that compliances are done in time. 
  • Guide & assist in various EOU compliances along with filing of returns.
  • Assist tax head and counsel in Income tax & GST related litigations. 
  • Assist in legacy litigations related to VAT, Service Tax & Central excise regime.
  • Guide other stakeholders in the organisation such as Supply chain, procurement, plants, accounts payable & treasury team on the tax aspects. 
  • Update management on Income tax & GST amendments from time to time and assist in implementing the change including IT related changes.

Your experience and qualifications

  • CA Qualified
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation, GST, Custom duty tax, Foreign trade with is must
  • Must have experience working in SAP environment. 
  • Minimum 1 year experience as people manager is must
  • Filling APA’s, customs duty ,Foreign trade, Corporate Tax, GST detailed knowledge is must
  • Experience in a global/international environment (MNC)
  • Pharma or Chemical industry is plus 
  • Thorough understanding of financial and taxation concepts, laws and practices
  • Ability to influence in a complex matrix organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English
