Our Team Impact

  • Manages supply chain planning and end-to-end availability of products sourced from Third Party Suppliers
  • Accountable for Supply Chain performance; customer OTIF, customer service, and E2E inventory
  • Leading team of planner/buyers in complex supplier and market regions
  • Act as SC representative in the assigned Supplier Relationship team
  • Drive Supplier S&OP/E with key suppliers,  develop action plan and lead relevant performance discussions
  • Initiate supply issue resolution and effective market communication
  • Adapts team priorities and plans considering resource availability and projects
  • Contribute to supply planning strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives supporting efficiency and effectiveness improvements

How You’ll Spend Your Day

1.    KPIs
    Monitor and regularly report KPI’s of the team and support achieving the Planning team / Hub targets, utilizing lean practices (performance mgmt., standard work, problem solving, etc.):

Ensure adherence to Service Targets in accordance to Segments
Raise business transparency to enable problem solving by execution of Performance Management review routine within the planning teams and Hubs;
Leverage power of SRT to prevent and resolve any supply interruption and improve the supplier CSL performance and OTIF rate;
Ensure inventory values of API toll manufacturing in Ex Man Hubs are within target and support the markets to achieve their inventory targets by optimizing the replenishment cycles, MOQ/batch and campaign review, change to improved EOQs, improved FG safety stock or decoupling of bulk/ materials to shorten our lead times and avoid overstock and write off risks;
Ensure inventory with less than 9% of the SKUs (or other defined target) below SSL;
       
2.     Customer Orientation
    Support with your team(s) high customer orientation by providing the markets with compliant supply of purchased 3rd party finished goods, semi-finished goods and raw materials planned and replenished by Hubs to the defined target date to achieve a max. customer service level, lowest possible inventories and write offs :
Increase anticipation mindset within Ex Man SC to change further to a more proactive disruption anticipation SC;
Lead effective regular customer-centric Market S&OP/E dialogue by continuously monitoring performance, addressing customer service issues and facilitating discussions to resolve with the 3rd Party’s and markets;
Perform management reporting on customer service issues and escalate issues as required (usage of reporting template for big stock outs/action plan for OOS (1 pager) and ensure routine update with markets and relevant stakeholders);
    
3.    Supplier Relationship
    For SRT planning teams act as SC representative in the assigned SRT, having a holistic view on ongoing issues with respective suppliers, work together with the other SRT members on solutions and ensure timely elevation of serious supply issue on including low OTIF rate:
Ensure governance and execution of supplier S&OP/RCCP and support efficient discussions as per Ex Man SC S&OP predefined format;
Support Quarterly supplier reviews / BRM;
Escalate when resolutions are pending;
Direct actions to respective Planner/Buyers.
    
4.    Change Management / Continuous Improvement
    Support together with your team(s) organizational/ system/ process improvement/ enhancements and Master data improvements, ensure your team is capable to work on new the processes and avoid any supply interruption during the changes:
Adapt plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges;
Ensure permanent review of processes/ways of working and implementation of possible/needed changes by supporting the submission, active participation and execution of Idea Box improvement initiatives;

 

5.    Team performance and professional development
    Lead an open dialogue with team members to enhance personal and team performance, boost morale, drive corrective actions and ensure accountability for results and continuous improvement:
Translate department strategic goals into team/personal operational objectives (Goal Setting);
Guide team members through and active participate in the Performance Dialogue process to ensure performance feedback is communicated and transformed into operational excellence, drive corrective actions and ensure accountability for results and continuous improvement;

Your Skills and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent - preferably scientific or business management discipline
  • 5+ years Supply Chain experience in a GxP environment
  • 3+ year working in an international business environment
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical business
  • SAP or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning systems experience
