Job Description

  • Energy Manager will plan, regulate and monitor the energy saving program  in all selected Teva Global Manufacturing facilities. The aim will be to improve efficiency and reduce cost by evaluating energy use and putting in place solutions policies and changes where needed.
  • At the same time, Energy Manager will own the Engineering Design, engineering Gap Analysis, execution of Utilities like Boilers, Air compressors and Nitrogen System and its components.
  • The objective of energy management is to set and manage Energy reduction program that will achieve and maintain optimum energy cost while optimize  utilization throughout the organization.
  • To reduce energy costs/waste without affecting production and quality.
  • To minimize environmental effects.
  • Establish a program and a governance structure to manage internal and external resources for the TGO manufacturing sites energy reduction.

Long Description

The main responsibilities will be:

  1. Establish global energy saving program to include:
    1.  site energy audit to identify inefficiencies within the facility
    2. develop & design a comprehensive technical offering which results in enhanced operational efficiency & costs savings.
    3. Establish connection with external suppliers and contractors for a global contract, local execution energy saving programs.
    4. Design and development of Engineering dashboard to monitor energy consumption of all plants Workplan Vs Actual consumption of each plant, Energy & Water conservation activities.
    5. Preparation of Energy Audit reports identified during energy audit & Techno‐commercial feasibility analysis.
    6. Interact with different stakeholders internal/external for successful implementation of the activity and obtain cost reduction.
    7. Validate energy/water conservation proposals for all sites and monitor it’s implementation and savings accruals
    8. Prepare schedule, arrange site visits of Cross functional team and other team/stakeholders,  and monitor the observations given to audited site and their progress of implementation.


  1. Minimum of 12-15 yrs. Experience in Energy Management in the Pharmaceutical industry or its equivalent.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. ( Preferred )
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of GEP and GEP.
  4. Candidate should have exposure on working on international projects across the Globe; especially in Europe and US.
  5. Progressive ability, capacity and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise and coordinate technical work while obtaining cooperation from others. Analytical thinking, structured problem solving skills, superior communications skills, team building and strong work ethic.
  6.  You are rigorous, independent, and curious, with good communication skills and the ability to manage projects in an international context. You are able to demonstrate the ability of persuasion and listening.
