The opportunity

Senior Director, Customer & Sales Engagement
Location: Teva Canada (Montreal or Toronto)
 

Teva Canada is looking for a dynamic Senior Director to lead our Generics Retail Sales business across the country. In this key leadership role, you will manage the sales organization and customer operations, including customer service, demand planning, sales analytics, and sales force effectiveness.
As part of the Canadian Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) and directly oversee a team of ~50 across 3 departments, fostering a culture of performance and continuous development. Reporting to the VP-General Manager, this role requires a combination of strategic vision and operational expertise to drive customer engagement and business growth.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute plans to grow generics retail sales, drive engagement and enhance customer operations, including service, demand planning, and analytics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal functions to ensure alignment on strategies, objectives and customer needs.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~50, with a focus on the national retail sales group.
  • Target Setting: Set sales goals, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to achieve revenue growth and successful product launches.
  • Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, expanding business opportunities and maximizing market demand.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of sales leadership in pharmaceuticals (preferably generics), with strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market.
  • Progressively evolving leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant area business area (marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain etc.).
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional sales teams and drive business success and innovation.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive change.
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging technology and data within the industry and understands its implications from a competitive standpoint. 
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual in French & English preferred.
