The Opportunity:

The SVP, General Manager of Anda carries full responsibility for achieving the corporate P&L goals for the Anda distribution business.  He/she will lead strategic thinking, policy setting, business development and complex problem solving to enable the company’s strategic growth agenda.  Responsibility for all Anda’s commercial activities including sales, marketing, distribution, procurement, IT and finance.   Oversight of multiple initiatives simultaneously and operating at both a detailed, analytical level and a broad, strategic, general manager level.  Collaboration with the U.S. Generics and Innovative businesses to support corporate strategy business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and meet Annual Operating Plan and 10-year long range plan
  • Setting and executing strategy for customer acquisition, growth and retention
  • Driving collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, IT and Operations to optimize business results; internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading complex problem solving and addressing strategic issues/decisions as needed in support of the Pivot to Growth and overall financial expectations; aligning individual, business unit and overall Teva goals
  • Support corporate strategy development, business development, scenario modeling, etc. through complex business cases  
  • Complete presentations in support of quarterly earnings and internal executive management meetings
  • Develop process and framework for policy efforts that impact U.S. pharmaceutical distribution
  • Maintain external partner and customer engagements inclusive of C-suite
  • Inspire and motivate a dedicated team of highly experienced professionals; foster an inclusive and transparent work environment where employees feel valued and heard

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent marketplace experience highly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial expertise and supply chain leadership experience within the pharmaceutical sector including roles in pharmacy and/or distribution
  • Commercial and or P&L responsibility required
  • Experience in leading large cross-functional dynamic teams
  • Demonstrated ability leading strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions
  • Proven experience driving change in a complex business environment
  • Experience running multi-billion-dollar business in the US while managing and developing all key customer relationships

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem to facilitate strategic partnerships and business growth; including primary and secondary markets
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive intelligence to adapt strategies to changes in the marketplace
  • Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire through clear direction and expectations
  • Proven ability to communicate strategy clearly to multiple teams and mobilize stakeholders outside of individual span of control
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset to identify opportunities and generate business plans to support business growth and profitability

 

Anda is located in Westin, FL (between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale). This position can support relocation, however, if someone is not local to South Florida, the travel requirement to be there is upwards of 30-40%.
