Who we are
How you’ll spend your day
- Conducting and leading risk assessments and investigations
- Performing safety inspections and tests
- Leading investigations and learning from site incidents
- Participating in product introduction and production line planning with safety aspects
- Implementing procedures and standards, participating in writing safety-related procedures for the facility
- Supervising and guiding subcontractors and conducting safety training for employees
- Responsibility for directing and managing occupational medical examinations
- Conducting environmental monitoring as required by law and Teva procedures, understanding occupational exposures at the site, and implementing improvements to minimize employee exposure to harmful agents
- Continuous communication with Global EHS including accident reporting and implementation of global safety requirements
- Working with authorities: Labor Inspection, Fire Department, Home Front Command
Your experience and qualifications
- Education as a Safety Engineer or Chemistry Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in pharmaceutical / food / chemical industry
- Knowledge and mastery of local safety regulation
