Job Description

We are hiring results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Duties for the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Main Responsibilities

•    Manages US GAAP/ financial reporting ensuring efficient and effective monthly and quarterly period close process with accurate information and appropriate supporting documents
•    Analyzes financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
•    Practices including compliance to local GAAP/statutory and other legal requirements.
•    Compliance with all financial policies, reports and other practices
•    Preparation and distribution of monthly closing agenda and deadlines.
•    Managing closing meetings with other departments.
•    Presenting analytical review of US GAAP BS/PL financials (FLUX Report) to the Finance Management.
•    Preparation, booking and following of monthly financial adjustments and re-classes according to US GAAP standards into the Oracle ERP System. 
•    Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of group companies executive management summaries and give support to team in charge
•    Following of Global Insurance Policies bookings and payments.
•    Prepare financial statements and ad-hoc financial/ management analysis
•    Follow up of open purchase order in the system and communicating with other departments.
•    Preparation and submission of quarterly write-off project (BI Tools) and leasing (IFRS16) (Lease Accelerator) booking to the system.
•    Preparation of monthly and quarterly TB & footnotes and uploading to the HFM
•    Supporting of accounting team at the year-end or other audit processes of the company
•    Statutory and US GAAP tax knowledge would be asset.
•    Controlling of Cost Center and Profit Centers of actual financials
•    Contribute to the preparation of the relevant budget and forecasts and ensure their follow-up.
•    Direct report to Business Finance & Controlling Manager

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar disciplines
•    4-6 years of experience in big four/audit companies or relevant functions/fields - preferred,
•    Proven experience in financial statements, CF, PL&BS and relevant analysis
•    Good knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
•    Knowledge of accounting/ tax Fundamentals 
•    Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
•    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•    Good presentation skills (Power point)
•    Strong negotiation and analytical thinking and reporting skills
•    Demonstrate analytical, organizational and communicational skills
•    Ability to work with deadlines and a changing environment, being agile
•    Flexible in Month/Quarter/Year-end closings
•    Team worker and collaboration with other departments
•    Responsible and result driven
•    Ethical behavior and compliant to Teva Codes.
