2nd Shift M-F 3:30pm-12am

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintenance Senior Supervisor Role to support the Site Utility, Facility, Manufacturing & Packaging Systems and Equipment. This includes daily Preventative Maintenance activities, Critical Systems Monitoring and unscheduled maintenance actions for the Site to minimize down time and assure maximum efficiency.

Strives for innovation and Improve maintenance efficiency to maximize equipment reliability and sustainability.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supervises the execution of preventive / corrective maintenance actions, troubleshooting, and condition monitoring of Site Utility, Facility, Manufacturing & Packaging Systems and Equipment. Provides support services as needed.
  • Assures that unscheduled repairs are performed effectively and efficiently to minimize production downtime and are performed safely in accordance with GMP & GDP procedures.
  • Prepares work schedules and determines relative priorities to assure efficient utilization of on shift personnel. Estimates time to complete work and materials needed. Follows-up during the day to verify progress and quality of the work being performed.
  • Visits work areas periodically to check on progress of maintenance and repairs to Site Utility, Facility, Manufacturing & Packaging Systems and Equipment
  • Works with Department Crew leaders to Inspect and approve completed work for conformance to GMP & GDP procedures, specifications, blue prints, and quality workmanship. Coordinates with outside contractors to resolve problems in installation and operation of new equipment as needed.
  • Assists in the execution & performance of the preventive maintenance program for Site Utility, Facility, Manufacturing, Packaging Systems and Equipment.
  • Coordinates maintenance and improvement of the facilities and grounds as needed. Coordinates the repair of building interior and exteriors, as necessary.
  • Performs periodic inspections and assures that plant equipment are maintained in a safe manner and that provisions for safety and industrial hygiene comply with company and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Performs periodic inspections and assures that plant operations are maintained in a manner which provide environmental control in compliance with company and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Supports on Shift CSO’s in Monitoring operating conditions of Utility Systems and equipment if a system deviation occurs. Utilizes Site BMS Systems and instruments to collect data as needed.
  • Supports the Investigation of mechanical and electrical failures of Site Systems & equipment. Takes corrective measures as needed. Participates in Problem Solving activities to support Continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Originates purchase requisitions for Outside vendor services, parts, tools, materials, supplies as needed.
  • Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Participates in the execution of Investigations, CAPA’s and Change Controls as needed to support the Engineering & Maintenance Teams Quality Compliance requirements.
  • Maintains up to date compliance of all required Teva Global & Site Wide Training.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school background or certifications (millwright, reliability, electrical) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Leadership/Supervisory experience
  • Pharma experience preferred
