Job Description

Position Summary:  The Trade Account Sr Specialist/Analyst is responsible for all aspects of order management and for cultivating and maintaining favorable relationships with assigned accounts at all levels of the of the customer’s organization.  Each Trade Account Sr Specialist/Analyst is partnered with an outside sales representative to build relationships at multiple levels within the accounts, maximize efficiency of processes, support the success of the business partnerships and ensure excellent customer service.  With guidance, the incumbent performs administrative, procedural and some analytical roles related to product orders and overall customer satisfaction.  The Trade Account Sr Specialist/Analyst works under minimal supervision, in accordance with established procedures and reports directly to the Customer Service Manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:                                                     
1. Provide reports on a routine and ad hoc basis:
2. Communicate directly with new and existing customers, at all levels of customer’s management structure to ensure the best service possible:
3. Enter key orders not placed through electronic order services due to complexity surrounding discounts, special buys, or regulations.  Attach fax images to orders in system (i.e. Oracle.)
4. Provide analysis and recommendations for effective service:
5. Work with the outside sales team as needed to ensure customer service success:
6. Acts as a liaison between Sales, Distribution, Quality, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Contracting and Finance, and customers to facilitate effective cross functional communication.
7. Responsible for accurate and complete documentation:
8. Process claims:
9. Assist in training new employees and facilitate training to other departments or units as necessary.

10. Participate in special projects and support team via research, tracking, schedule coordination, mailing, internal reports, system testing and other assigned activities.
 11. Ensure lot level or supply allocation is managed for internal teams or customer requirements.  Implement Emergency Access Program to facilitate urgent delivery of product.
 12. Participate in product launches:
13. Other duties as assigned or as business needs require.
 14. Follows Teva Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education Required/Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience Required: 3+ years order management/customer service experience.
Experience Preferred:
* Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience.
* Experience with Oracle.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge, License, Certifications needed:
 Proficient in MS Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint required).
Functional Knowledge and skills:
* Possesses thorough knowledge of company policies, products and services.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport with others and accomplish team tasks.
* Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
* Ability and willingness to support business initiatives requiring after hours work, weekends and company holidays, as needed.
* Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments.
* Ability to perform general administrative office duties (i.e. filing, faxing, sending packages via 3rd party).
Physical Requirements:      
1.  Able to sit for extended periods of time.
2. Able to use general office and telecommunications equipment.
3. Capable of meeting Teva’s employee attendance requirements.
