The opportunity

We are currently recruiting a Pharmacovigilance Officer – Deputy Local Safety Officer to join our Swedish team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will also become part of the Nordic PV cluster, where close collaboration and a supportive work environment are key.

In this role, you will work alongside the Local Safety Officer (LSO) to manage and maintain the Pharmacovigilance (PV) function in Sweden, ensuring compliance with local and global PV regulations, in coordination with Teva’s Global and European PV functions and local Swedish management.

How you’ll spend your day

Pharmacovigilance Operations & Compliance

  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a compliant Pharmacovigilance (PV) function for Teva Sweden
  • Ensure compliance with local and global PV regulations in collaboration with the Local Safety Officer (LSO)
  • Keep all local and global PV tracking systems regularly updated
  • Accurately record and document all audit-relevant procedures, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Liaise with Teva’s Global and European PV departments, including the European Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (EU QPPV)
  • Work closely with local Teva management and cross-functional teams as needed

Cluster & Regional Support

  • Act as Deputy/Back-up LSO for Sweden
  • Collaborate with and provide support to LSOs in the Nordic cluster, including serving as backup during their absence

Meetings & Projects

  • Participate in Global and European PV meetings
  • Contribute to European PV projects and working groups driven by Global Patient Safety and the PV leadership

Your experience and qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or other health-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmacovigilance, preferably with experience as Deputy LSO or similar
  • Knowledge and understanding of EU and local PV regulations for medicinal products
  • Experience in cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
  • Strong communicator, fluent in English and Swedish.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Veeva is a plus
  • Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
