The Opportunity
The main purpose of the position is to provide product support in local subsidiary within defined disease area strategies and product plans, with particular focus on external customer engagement. The Jr Medical Advisor contributes to the development and deployment of annual medical strategic and tactic plan in close collaboration with Medical Director, Commercial, Market Access, Portfolio, and other relevant business functions. Furthermore, the purpose is to identify, develop and execute national business opportunities to increase the scientific footprint of Teva. This should be achieved by demonstrating the value of Teva´s offerings to national and regional key stakeholders and by building and maintaining first class external expert (EE) relationships.
- Jr Med Adv support on Teva Swedens Innovative (Ix) migraine business and has medical lead role in prioritized therapeutic areas of Established brands, Biosimilars and Teva’s dose dispensing business.
- As medical and scientific (non-promotional) expert in these areas you educate HCPs in a fair, balanced, credible and non-promotional manner and guide HCPs on the optimal use of Teva products.
- You will bring medical insights into the company and identify business opportunities where you bring added value to relevant customers, mainly HCPs.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
Externally:
- Identify and map relevant stakeholders like external experts/institutions, patient advocacy groups and payers to build trustful relationships with.
- Communicate relevant scientific data in a credible and balanced way with Health care Professionals
- Maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge by attending relevant medical congresses and timely screening of scientific literature and publications
- Leverage a variety of channels, including digital, to engage with external stakeholders, in line with Teva policies
- Support in our Medical Information function and respond to off-label requests for Teva’s products according to the relevant Teva policies, SOP’s and legislation
- Handle, and follow-up on Investigator Sponsored Studies and/or Educational Grant Applications
- Identify local data/science/knowledge gaps and discuss these with external experts e.g. in Advisory boards
- Drive innovation culture, develop innovative digital content, tactics, apply all relevant metrics/analytics in place, and report them accordingly
Internally:
- As internal medical expert, educate the brand team(s) on the relevant therapeutic areas and diseases, on Teva’s- and competitor products
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to define and refine the brand strategies and plans
- Together with Medical Director and in alignment with Commercial and Market Access departments define and implement local medical strategies and tactics
- Develop and continuously update external facing materials incl. “MSL decks”
- Provide medical/scientific input to market access/reimbursement procedures
- Document and share internally valuable insights from relevant stakeholders within the appropriate system
- Training of Teva employees in relevant disease area’s and/or product knowledge and competitive landscape
- Full awareness of Teva ‘s code of practice, policies and SOP’s and external local regulations and legislation on relevant Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access and Health Outcome issues.
- Review and certification of promotional and educational material (as appropriate and where required) according to local regulations and code of practice
- Financial planning and follow-up/close out of medical projects
- Collaboration with Swedish, NW Hub and Europe colleagues to secure organizational learnings and optimize medical activities
- Master all relevant internal systems (EngageMate, Veeva Promomats, Ariba, Veeva CRM etc)
Your Experience And Qualifications
- Education: Master of Science and preferably in Pharmacy
- Experience from work in Pharma Industry or at regions, preferably related to Biosimilars and/or prioritized areas of migraine and transplantation medicine
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific information and communicate it effectively
- Good understanding and knowledge of the Swedish health care system
- Pro-active and action-oriented mindset seeking and implementing business opportunities into collaborative projects with customers
- A real team player with full cooperation and synergy with other members of the team
- Good administrative and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Good IT skills with the ability to work effectively with and leverage modern technology
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Microsoft Office proficiency – high level
- Driving license
