Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Director to join our Corporate Marketing & Communications team. The position is based in London (near Fenchurch Street Station). The candidate will be reporting to VP, Channels Strategy & Digital Content.

 

The Social Media Director will have three parts to their role:

 


1. They will be fully responsible for all Teva’s global social media channels (initially Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube). This includes the strategy, management and performance of these channels. They will manage relevant resources and a paid budget. They will need to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to help them understand and support the new strategy for Global channels.

 


2. They will play a key part in the development of the overall social media approach for local Teva markets, assisting with the creation of a governance framework and the implementation of tools and agencies.

 


3. They will lead training of social media to different groups of Teva stakeholders, including the Corporate Brand & Communications team and local management teams.

Qualifications

  •  Degree-level qualification
  •  Extensive experience of being a social media strategist for a multinational company
  •  Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry a distinct advantage, given the specific regulatory and legal framework in which such companies operate
  •  Must have used Social Studio to manage channels in a previous role
  •  Must have managed paid campaigns for social media, either directly or via a media agency
  •  Strong relationship-management and collaboration skills
  •  Experience of working in a global organization with varied cultures, with proven ability to work effectively at a central and local level
  •  Excellent English language editing and writing skills
