We are currently looking for an Artwork Planner to join our Regulatory Affairs Team based in our office in Harlow, Essex. We offer a fixed term contract till end of 2022. You will be planning and co-ordinating the provision of artworks to meet Regulatory and Business Unit requirements.

A day in the life of an Artwork Planner...

 

  • Identify artwork requirements & co-ordinate data collection to enable artwork generation.
  • Teva Artwork contact for artwork requests and queries.
  • Plan & prioritise with other Artwork Planners to ensure that artworks meet submission/launch dates.
  • Create design brief to enable the creation of the component artwork right first time. 
  • Ensure artworks are created in-line with design brief and guidelines (colours, livery style, font types, text, local regulatory / country requirements, technical drawings, barcodes, item codes Etc.)
  • Ensure artworks conform to the information provided, livery style, agreed standards of quality, and that the draft artwork is circulated for approval by the appropriate signatories. 
  • Have departmental sign off responsibilities for the approval of draft artworks and for the approval of the Printers Proofs.  Ensure all approvals are captured & documented.
  • Track the progress of the artworks through the different stages of the process. Provide accurate information about the status of the artworks.  Take corrective action when required. If necessary escalate issues to the Artwork & PIL User Test Manager.
  • Attend project meetings as required to facilitate the artwork process. 
  • Where appropriate provide training to other colleagues within the department (including new starters).
  • Provide cover for absent colleagues.
  • Ensure database and spreadsheets are updated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all processes & SOP's are adhered to & are maintained. 
  • Look for continuous improvement opportunities within the department with the view of improving customer service & instances of right first time.
  • Minimise the occurrence of non-conforming material
  • Ensure artworks are saved onto the system, in the appropriate folder.

Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills

 

Do you have...?

  • A level or higher
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical / cosmetics / food industries
  • Experience with artwork origination & approval
  • Experience of vendor / partner relationships
  • Knowledge of printing and the print industry
  • Knowledge of MAC applications
  • Attention to Detail
