The opportunity

This is an opportunity for an Artwork Studio Coordinator to process and coordinate artwork requests for our in-house artwork team. From initial request, you will review and collate artwork briefs alongside managing internal communications to deliver the final blueprint proof. Managing and responding to Stakeholder communication and queries within the artwork process to ensure delivery of high-quality artwork to meet Regulatory and Business Unit requirements.

A Day in the Life of an Artwork Studio Coordinator...

  • You will identify artwork requirements and coordinate data collection to enable artwork generation.
  • You will be the single point of contact for artwork requests and queries for designated markets and products.
  • You will effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to ensure artwork meets required deadlines with minimal supervision. 
  • You will create artwork briefs for the Studio to enable the creation of the component artwork right first time, referring to design guidelines, technical and regulatory requirements when creating the artwork brief to ensure clear communication of artwork requirements to the Artwork and QC team.
  • You will ensure artwork is circulated for approval by the appropriate signatories and necessary approvals are captured and documented.
  • You will track the progress of the artworks through the different stages of the process, providing accurate information about the status of the artworks and taking corrective action when required, if necessary, escalating issues to a Manager.
  • You will perform quality checks of artwork, having responsibility for approval of draft artwork and blueprint proofs.
  • You will ensure all processes and SOP's are adhered to thus minimising the occurrence of non-conforming materials.
  • You will attend specific project meetings and daily workload meetings as a subject matter expert to facilitate the artwork process.
  • You will actively participate in any support, training or feedback provided as part of your development.
  • You will provide cover for absent colleagues and expertly manage fluctuating workloads in line with business demands.
  • You will ensure database and spreadsheets are updated in a timely manner.
  • You will contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment that strives for continuous improvement opportunities within the department with the view of improving customer service and instances of right first time.
  • You will ensure artworks are saved onto the system, in the appropriate folder.

Your experience and qualifications

Do you have...?

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical / cosmetics / food industries
  • Experience with reviewing artwork information and writing a brief for artwork creation
  • Experience with artwork origination & approval
  • Experience of vendor / partner relationships, preferably across different countries and cultures.
  • Professional communicational skills with internal colleagues and external Stakeholders
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of packaging and/or the print industry
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service experience and knowledge
  • Initiative
  • Judgement, decision making and problem solving to maximise performance
  • Collaboration and adaptability skills
