The opportunity

Teva is seeking a motivated professional to join the Finance team for Actavis and Medis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with exposure to diverse markets and business operations. How you’ll spend your day

Collaborate with the AP team and business units to code invoices for approval
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Approve and monitor payment plans according to the company policies
Manage reconciliations and reporting for Icelandic VAT and withholding tax
Perform other reconciliations as required
Oversee internal and external financial reporting and communications
Support annual closings and audits
Drive efficiencies in processess and support their implementation within the company
Responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate policies in Iceland
Handle ad hoc assignments

Your experience and qualifications

Strong accounting background and solid understanding of bookkeeping
Education in accounting or finance preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to resolve issues and manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus
Oral and written fluency in English, Icelandic represents a strong asset
Positive attitude and ability to work independently
Experience in an international environment is a plus
