We are now looking for a Value & Access Director, Europe to lead our European Innovative Medicine Value and Access in the assigned therapeutic area. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure patients in Europe can benefit from our innovative therapies.
The Value & Access Director is dedicated to co-developing innovative and winning market access strategies, optimizing the payer value proposition and access-relevant evidence packages for assets, in partnership with the cross-functional teams.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Define European Value and Access Strategy
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive, integrated access strategy for your therapeutic area across the product lifecycle.
- Translate scientific innovation into compelling payer and healthcare system value propositions, ensuring affordability and sustainable patient access.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare for launches, ensuring robust pricing, evidence generation, and value communication strategies.
- Develop innovative contracting approaches and Managed Entry Agreements (MEAs) to support healthcare system affordability and patient outcomes.
- Contribute to global pricing strategies while ensuring regional alignment and timely market-specific insights.
Drive Cross-Functional and External Collaboration
- Serve as the voice of access within the organization, inspiring and influencing global, regional, and country teams.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Development, HEOR, and Finance to build differentiated access-relevant evidence packages.
- Represent Teva externally in key forums, shaping the broader healthcare and market access landscape.
- Develop and share an “Access Toolbox” with country teams to drive consistent, effective local execution across diverse market archetypes.
Act as a Thought Leader in Your Therapeutic Area
- Build and champion a strategic vision for access within your therapeutic area, driving innovation and impact for patients and payers.
- Stay ahead of evolving policies, HTA processes, and payer trends, particularly across EU4 + UK markets.
- Lead advisory boards and leverage insights from regulators and stakeholders to pressure-test strategies and evidence requirements.
- Anticipate and model market access trends to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of senior-level market access experience at a country or regional level, with a proven record of achieving reimbursement and patient access outcomes.
- 3+ years of global or ex-US regional experience leading access strategy across multiple healthcare systems.
- Proven expertise in early drug development, shaping access strategies from pre-launch through commercialization.
- Experience developing HEOR, pricing, or payer negotiation strategies, ideally across diverse European markets.
- Demonstrated success in product launches, ensuring market readiness and rapid uptake.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for storytelling and building compelling payer narratives.
Location
This role can be performed from any Teva location within the EU, excluding Switzerland and France.
