Purpose of the position
- Translates Teva Ix strategy into EU Commercial Priority Plan, LRP and AOP contributing to the acceleration of the Pivot to Growth Strategy delivery
- Significant contributor to EU strategic priorities and plans, balancing Ix needs with enterprise mindset to deliver optimal outputs for Teva
- Key influencer within region and with local & global stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities
- Maximises Ix growth drivers for EU and ensures optimal business performance in the markets
- Consolidates Ix growth opportunities into EU Priority Plan, LRP & AOP
- Ensure launch excellence for new Ix products (time, access, value, volume)
- Negotiates with & provides feedback to Global Ix, R&D and Medical teams to ensure European TPP and access needs are understood and optimised during development and pre-launch cycle
- Ensure functional & country capital allocation in line with Priority Plan & AOP, aligned with Gx franchise & Commercial Lead
- Optimises Ix operating model across region
- Accountability and ownership of LRP, strategy and AOP (full year)
- Defines the EU LRP strategic direction and planning assumptions
- Ensures alignment between EU LRP and AOP priorities
- Works in close partnership with Commercial Lead by providing strategic guidance and guardrails to support effective execution in the markets and ensures market insights and business needs provided by Commercial Lead are reflected in the EU LRP
- Fosters innovative practices to create sustainable growth
- Drives EU modernization/transformation and optimises Ix operating model in line with EU Priority Plan (leveraging strategic forums, incl. selective GMs)
- Drives customer centric approach
- Evolves Ix operating model in line with Transform priorities
- Evolves functional capabilities and professional development in line with growth opportunities

- Supports Country GM’s and Pivotal talent to ensure right capabilities are in place to execute EU Priority Plan
- Coaches Country GM’s and Pivotal talent across region to ensure maximum performance
- Builds diverse talent pools and succession plans for Pivotal roles

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Creates a shared mindset across the Franchise and with the markets around the art of the possible, encouraging key stakeholders to stretch their thinking, aim for bold moves and optimize commercial opportunities
- Translates Teva strategy into EU Priority Plan, LRP and AOP
- Develops and communicates a clear and compelling vision for the business aligned with the Teva Pivot to Growth Strategy
- Formulates and executes EU Priority Plan to drive sustainable business growth and profitability
- Leads cross-functional launch strategy for new assets including scaling current organization and establishing new capabilities and roles as needed.
- Partners with European Leadership Team to define and implement strategy and modernization including establishing priorities and defining resource allocation across brands and key initiatives in line with EU Priority Plan.
- Partners with R&D and BD on development of pipeline assets and new business opportunities.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to adapt the business strategy accordingly
- Stays abreast of advancements in pharmaceutical science, market opportunities and technology to identify opportunities for our patients, our partnerships, product development and improvement
- Aligns key stakeholders around a single EU Priority Plan (Ix, Gx, OTC, Bx & Modernization)
- Develops BD strategy & executes against it in order to shape long-term growth
Financial Management & Execution
- Consolidates EU Priority Plan to improve overall Ix and financial results (e.g. AOP and LRP)
- Owns long-range planning, strategy and AOP (full year)
- Partnership with CFO & other key stakeholders
- Ensures effective financial management, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Implements cost-effective measures while maintaining quality standards and compliance with regulations
- Assesses and manages financial risks to protect the financial health of the organization
- Drives stretch goals with a sense of urgency and focus, balancing between the short and the long term
- Identifies growth drivers for Ix across Europe and ensures strong business performance in the markets
- Manages functional cost center to target
Commercial Operations
- Determine optimal European Ix operating models, drives transformation and optimizes operating models in line with EU Priority Plan
- Supports Country GM’s in the execution and optimization of their Ix go-to-market models, through patient and customer insights driving toward customer centricity
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with multi market key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring the business is responsive to market demands
Adaptability and Change Management
- Champions Ix operating model change and accelerates transformation by challenging status quo
- Serves as an executive sponsor and champion of change – share vision, inspire and lead people through purposeful, fast paced changes aligned to Teva strategy
- Fosters a culture of agility and continuous improvement
Collaboration
- Collaborates with other regional and global leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in strategy and operations
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization
- Focuses on EU priority plan and in-year performance rather than operational detail, while embracing a flexible, adaptive way of working
Talent Management & Capabilities
- Ensures future-ready capabilities contributing to Pivot to Growth and develops existing leadership assets to enhance the capabilities of the management team
- Owns succession planning for critical roles, ensuring leadership continuity, readiness, and a strong internal (leadership) pipeline to support long term business resilience, strategy execution and future demands
- Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing and diverse team

Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience preferably including multi-functional, market General Management (P and L), regional or global role experiences across Innovative
- Minimum of 10 years of Marketing experience required, including leading multiple brands.
- Broad experience across multiple Commercial functions (e.g. – Sales, Marketing, Digital, Strategic Projects, BD, Operations & Analytics, Patient Services, Market Access, CNS TA).
- A minimum of bachelor's degree in life or medical sciences, business or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and people management skills (including leading leaders) and building an inclusive and diverse working environment
- Possess general management/strong commercial expertise with the ability to strategize and manage a “complex” business model
- Track record of successful achievements and progression
- Demonstrated success in working in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment in a multi-national company, experience in pharmaceuticals industry is required
- Successfully applied business acumen, spanning multiple functions and a track record of driving innovation and growth
- Experience creating and executing complex strategic plans in a global matrix environment
- Great understanding of financials (P&L, accruals, balance sheet, capital investment, forecasting and supply chain))
- Ability to effectively communicate strategies and decisions
- Experience with building/managing high performing teams and shows strong capability of managing and decision making in matrix environment
- Track record of leading people through organizational transformation/change, building talent and developing organizational capabilities
- A successful track record of managing business transformation, utilizing digital and GCC services and ability to fully embrace the changes that the company aims to make for its future
- Ability to serve as an excellent catalyst for change management
- Ability to being effective in a multinational company and have a global mind-set and cultural flexibility
- Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare, Market Trends, Regulatory, Competitors & Customer Insights, Digital & understanding of global environment (customer, patient, trends, payer)
