The opportunity
This position is responsible for the Supply Chain related projects in the Haarlem manufacturing site to manage the projects’ life-cycle to ensure conformance to plan, and regularly report progress to the relevant stakeholders in the site and above site. Key focus projects: New and second-wave product launch, Change controls, deviation management, material source change and other supply chain related improvement projects.
How you’ll spend your day
• Define project scope, deliverables, schedule and risks
• Ensure project schedule, according to time constraints and uncertainties
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders on site and above site in order to deliver the project objectives
• Lead project kick-off meetings and manage all project information, communications, and schedules
• Periodically report to site management and above site stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional and multi-site efforts to ensure project execution according to schedule
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, particularly during the execution phase; develop with the team the optimum batch sizes and system setups needed to meet project requirements.
• Define and manage risk plan and apply contingencies for all assigned projects.
• Utilize team to identify constraints within the sites and solve conflicts based on priorities set by site and above site groups.
• Act as primary contact for all assigned projects
• Manage the project implementation with local markets and ensure quality delivery, within project scope and timelines
Your experience and qualifications
• Industrial Engineer – preferred, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience will be considered
• Extended experience in supply chain project management, Certified PMO represents an added value
• Experience in Complex manufacturing environment in Pharma is ideal
• Experience with leading meetings with manufacturing site’s stakeholders required (cross functional)
• Presentation skills required
• OPEX experience - advantage
• Ability to motivate, influence other team members without direct supervisory authority
• Capability to build and maintain collaborative relationships between teams, departments and business units
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making
• Strong communication skills with excellent written and oral communication in English
• Ability to interact positively and collaborate with co-workers, management and external partners
