Purpose of the position

Coordinates the supply chain from Business Unit (factory) to customer. He/She reviews availability, conducts order processing, arranges necessary documentation from plant until final customer, conducts invoicing and responds to supply-related inquiries from the customer.


1.    Responsibility for the supply of products produced in one or more Business Unit:
-    Control of / supervision in order fulfilment and on timely delivery.
-    Inventory control for local (SO) warehouses.
-    Allocation of the available quantities together with the responsible forecasting team or with the Senior supply chain manager
-    Signaling organizational and or administrative problems within the responsible Business Unit.
2.    Independent execution of administrative tasks related to sales order processing and or purchasing:
-    Sales orders entry.
-    Purchase orders entry.
-    Sales price verification.
-    Supply dates coordination with Business Unit, account managers and customers.
3.    Independent execution of (administrative) activities regarding supplies;
-    Preparation of invoices and other financial or logistics documentation,
-     Informing customers about supplies through the relevant documentation.
4.    Coordinate the physical distribution and customs formalities. 
5.    Control of invoices and expenses from forwarders and logistics service providers.
6.    Other activities like:
-    Participatie in various projects.
-    Customer inquiries and other correspondence
-    Managing information and data storage.
-    Support of colleagues where necessary to accomplish department objectives.
7.    Maintain transparency and ensure GDP compliance in all activities conducted in the context of this role. 



  • Required educational background: BSc in Business / Logistics / Chemistry / Sciences or professional education in either of these areas in combination with >8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in API business or in pharmaceutical industry (minimum 6 years in case of ‘professional education’).
  • Order processing experience required.
  • Good communication skills and excellent command of English.
  • Able to work in a changing and dynamic business environment.
  • Should be able to handle stress and job pressure.
  • Is open to occasional over-time.
