The opportunity

The Haarlem OpEx team is looking to expand to support the Manufacturing site in their growth journey. „Your main responsiblities will be driving change through the implementation of the global Teva production system. In this job you will be coaching local management and team members, identify and execute potential OpEx projects and be the go-to person for OpEx knowledge.
We believe that OpEx is more then implementing a set of tools or running OpEx projects. Mindset and behaviour is an important pillar where we work on on a daily basis. Therefore, you will be able to work on a diverse pallet of OpEx Topics. At one moment you could be coaching teamleaders or managers in performance meeting or Rootcause analysis, the next moment you’re working as a project lead on reducing end to end process lead time or facilitating a 5S session.
In order to be succesfull in the role of OpEx expert you have experience in OpEx/Lean/Six Sigma methodolgies but even more important an optimistic „can do“ mindset and you are able to inspire people to embrace OpEx. Just as us, you like to work on a diverse range of topics and you enjoy the volatile nature of a manufacturing site.
How you’ll spend your day
- Support the site with implementation of Global OPEX standards
- Stakeholder management and coaching
- Support capability building of employees in OPEX methodologies.
- Provide lean expertise
- Assist in building OPEX roadmap based on business needs
- Lead OPEX programs and projects in support on long term vision for the site (Site Master Plan)
- Help site management with prioritization and setting of ambitious targets
Your experience and qualifications
You will have an Academic degree in business administration or related field but also a more technical background like engineering, chemistry, pharmacy or similar would be a great match for this role.
You will have some experience in applying process improvement methods like Lean, Six Sigma or TPM. A certification (like Green Belt or Black Belt) will be preferable.
It will help you in this role that you will have some experience in a manufacturing industry but is not a hard requirement.
You have strong analytical skills, financial insight and business acumen.
You are fluent in English and Dutch and have excellent knowledge of MS Office
