The opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing and Sales Manager, Psychiatry/Gastroenterology to join our innovative team in the Netherlands.  The Marketing and Sales Manager, Psychiatry/Gastroenterology is responsible for the commercial success of our Psychiatry/Gastroenterology division. You will work closely with the Psychiatry/Gastroenterology Customer Engagement team (in the field).

You achieve this by setting objectives, identifying opportunities, and rolling out initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders within the psychiatry and gastroenterology fields. In this way, you contribute to optimizing the launch of our medication in the psychiatric pipeline and to increasing the market share of our gastroenterology portfolio, in line with Teva’s strategy and applicable laws and regulations.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Marketing management

  • You are responsible for the strategic marketing plan. You will build the business plan and work on rolling it out to various stakeholders.
  • You are responsible for setting up and monitoring the launch plan for the products in our psychiatry pipeline.
  • You are responsible for the budget on both the revenue and expenditure sides and, to that end, draw up an annual Brand Plan in consultation with colleagues from the teams.
  • You are responsible for monitoring and adjusting the commercial performance of the Psychiatry/Gastroenterology  sales team.  
  • Proactively analyze market changes and competitive developments.  
  • Set up and roll out projects in consultation with various stakeholders to optimize Psychiatry/Gastroenterology care in the Netherlands. 
  • Develop and maintain informational materials (print & digital) in accordance with the established communication strategy and compliance regulations.
  • Organizing and participating in national and international symposia and meetings.
  • Effectively communicating the benefits of Teva products to target audiences, in line with sales and marketing plans, to achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Building an extensive network within the Psychiatry/Gastroenterology field among various stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the sales team to identify “hot leads” within the Psychiatry/Gastroenterology field
  • Work closely with our Digital Brand Lead to develop communication campaigns and lead new projects for stakeholders. 

 

Sales Management

Leading the Sales Team, overseeing and ensuring:

  • Delegating tasks, authority, and responsibilities 
  • Optimizing workflows and communication between Marketing and Sales. 
  • Setting individual goals based on national targets
  • Monitoring employee performance and results, as well as taking action on deviations
  • Coaching, motivating, and encouraging the sales team and/or field management
  • Conducting performance reviews, development discussions, and evaluation meetings.
  • Making recommendations regarding salary and promotions
  • Aligning operational policy and market approach with other S&M divisions to achieve optimal sales results for products or product groups that span multiple market segments.
  • Maintaining and overseeing effective relationship management from within the division with various customer groups and stakeholders, such as neurologists, general practitioners, pharmacists, and nurses, insurers, opinion leaders, and government agencies.
  • Be responsible for developing sales plans at the national level, derived from the marketing strategy
  • Assume budget responsibility (within the sales team).
  • Organize and lead sales meetings

Your Skills and Experience

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, economics, marketing, life sciences, or biology
  • You have experience in marketing/communications and/or sales and product management
  • You have strong administrative and organizational skills and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • You are a strong communicator and are fluent in English and Dutch.
  • You have a “can-do” attitude
  • You are a true team player
